Improve Your Child's Self-Esteem ~ 15 Simple Ways!!

What is Self Esteem??
It is the ability to see oneself as capable and competent, lovable and loving, unique and valuable - It is your feedback to yourself!

The development of self-esteem is a basic need, right from childhood and lack of self-esteem can result in long-term problems. Self-esteem provides energy that every person needs to face the challenges and difficulties that arise in life.

Developing good self-esteem involves encouraging a positive (and realistic) attitude towards yourself and the world around you - appreciating your worth, while at the same time behaving responsibly towards others.

Self esteem isn't self-absorption; it is self-respect!!

Let's look at some simple and effective ideas to work on self-esteem..

  • Avoid exaggerations
  • Nip negative thoughts in the bud

  • If it's overwhelming - take a break!
  • Choose the brighter side of things
