On first interactions about fashion and beauty..

A Tribute to Mothers.. On first interactions about fashion and beauty..

“Be yourself!”
“You are what you eat!”
”Sit like a lady!”
“Walk tall, remember who you are.”

Do any of these sound familiar? At some time or the other - we all quote our mothers. Each one of us is a product of our environment, and we soak up more wisdom from our mothers than we realize.

As our tribute to all of the beautiful mothers out there, we decided to ask some of our friends what their mothers taught them about beauty and fashion. We’d love to hear your comments as well!

“Be comfortable in what u wear and wear what you feel confident in carrying off” -Devanshi Vaishnav

“Stay simple and classy” -Juhi Karamchandani

“My mom would always say, dress well, look presentable- A girl should always look good and neat” -Anon

“Mom always ensured that I take special care of my hair – she says hair is the best accessory a woman wears” -Rashmi Rawat

“My parents always wanted me to be well groomed” -Natasha Asnani

“My mom always emphasized that the face should be more distinct than others, she suggests wearing a bindi on any Indian outfit, saree or any traditional dress” -Khushboo Kansara

“I remember her telling me that beauty at its best is natural.. Fashion should be simple yet elegant” -Sanam Makhija

Always be true to yourself, carry yourself with confidence, and wear the right clothes to the right place” -Aekta Mahtani

Indeed! We owe so much to these adorable angels watching over us...
